Restart your device.
Experience tells us that a hard reset of the device fixes a majority of issues. Note, this is not the same as simply turning the device off and then back on again. To restart the device, hold both the home and power button down simultaneously for around 5 seconds. The screen will go black and eventually the Apple logo will reappear and the device will boot up as normal.
Remove & Reinstall.
If restarting your device has failed to resolve the issue and other applications are functioning correctly, then the next step is to remove and reinstall the malfunctioning application. To remove an app, press and hold on its icon, when it wobbles, click the x in the upper-left hand corner. Then visit the App Store to redownload the app. (Note: all non-cloud application data will be lost).
We're sorry you're experiencing a problem with Mr. Mem.
Make sure you read the FAQs, it's very likely someone else has experienced the same problem and that a solution has already been posted. If none of this helps, send us a message below we'll be in touch.
Why don’t the game centre buttons work?
Mr. Mem is designed to work on almost any iOS device, some of which will be running outdated versions of the iOS operating system. Apple added Game Center in iOS version 4.1 and therefore, if you are using a version older than this, Game Center functionality will not be available. High scores and achievements will still be saved locally.
How much is this really improving my memory?
We’ve done plenty of research and there is scientific evidence that memorising these sequences does improve your memory, particularly on sequences above seven where grouping becomes necessary. Even we noticed an improvement during the development of this app! We hope to be able to incorporate some relevant benchmark statistics some way in a future version.
Why can’t I pause my game?
Given the nature of gameplay in Mr. Mem, pausing really isn’t necessary. You can keep the app running in the background and then just press the sequence repeat arrow when you are ready to resume!
Do I have to buy two copies, one for my iPhone, one for my iPad?
No, the Mr. Mem application contains all the resources to run on both devices. It is a universal app, which means one version runs on all iOS devices.
Please use the form provided to report problems or to provide suggestions for new features or improvements.
